What im wondering if 31/10.50/15 BFG A/T's or M/T's will fit on my 99 2 door with an add a leaf and a torsion bar crank.  I would like there to be no rubing on the fenders. Rubing at full lock is ok.  I would like to know how theses will fit on my stock ZR2 wheels and on aftermarket wheel with a 4.5" backspacing

add a leaf and torsion crank is not enough info for anyone to decide if you're tires will fit.  We need a lift measurement.

To put you in the ball park...my 30x10.50s (on 15x8s with 4.5'' of backspacing) rub on fender at the last 10% to full lock, and thats with 1.5'' up and trimmed fenders.

your stock ZR2 wheels? im assuming you have ZR2 wheels on a non ZR2?? if it is a ZR2 you will be able to fit them with no mods. If it is a non-ZR2 you need 2 inches of all around lift and 5-6" backspacing. They may still rub the frame at full crank..

well no... but thats kindof a waste just for 31's... why not just the crank, shackles, and stock rim backspacing with 31's?

Well he wants the ZR2 stance...hence the lower backspace rims.  4.5'' is manageable...I've only gone up 1.5'' and only had a trim a minor bit, but then again that's with 30x10.50s not 31s.....

Haha...again..let's just go with a_tack on this one

ZR2 rims are exactly the same as normal 4x4 S-series rims.
Absolutely no difference, other than possibly the year of your rig, which would make them look different... That's it.

Ya i dont know what you guys are talking about the ZR2 rim is the same as all the Blazer 4x4 rims.
Remember ZR2s come factory with 31x10.5 obviously with no issues.  But on a standard 4x4 all factory yo umay get some rubbing at full turn of the wheel, and with articulation.
My ZR2 had 32x 11.5 bfgs onit when i got it never rubbed once.  Now i have 31s back on it with a -30 offset rim and it get rubbing.
With your factory rims i dont see much of any issues putting 31s on a standard 4x4.

On most 2nd gen two door non-Z Blazers, 30x9.5 R15 on the stock rims is the biggest you can go without rubbing, with no lift.

x2.  ZR2s have larger wheel wells to clear bigger tires, so you very well may have cleared 32x11.50s fine, but I'm willing to bet you had a bit of lift from your torsion bars to clear them fine.

Also remember the safe rating is +- 4'' from rim to tire.  So a 10.50 will fit fine on a 15x7.

There's much more to a ZR2 than just 31s, flares, and a lift.

FYI, if you get a ZR2 axle under a reguler S-Series 4x4, the front/rear will line right up

Close enough, anyway, lol

I have 30x9.5 R15s on the stock rims and clears fine with full turns and flexing! I actually also have some questions about possibly going to 31"s. So my question is: What will rub if I get the 10x8 black steel rims with 4" back spacing and BFGoodrich A/T 31X10.5 R15? Also, if I get 10x7 rims wouldn't that make the whole wheel a little taller since it will squeeze the 31x10.5 R15s? If this post doesn't belong here, please delete it and I will start a new thread.

Thanks!
