I added a 2" body lift and 1" crank on my Jimmy. I put 31's on it and it rubbed really bad. I cut off and grinded and beat the fender a good bit but on bouncy turns, it still rubbed. I then went to crank my keys another .5" and my driver side key maxed out at about 1/4 of a turn. I then went to do a 1/4 of a turn on the other side and realized that the passenger side has another inch left of bolt that is visible.
Because my drivers side keys are now maxed out to level it with my unmaxed out passenger side, does this mean my torsion bars are maxed on the drivers side? Also, could new keys give me the extra .5" Im looking for for both sides or do I have to find an old torsion bar for that side?

New keys could give you the extra height in theory...although you've still got a sagging bar on the driver's side.

Basically...if you were to max out the passenger's side, and with both maxed, the pass. side sits .5'' higher than the drivers side, then your driver's tbar sags .5''.  So you will need new 3'' lift keys, and max out the drivers key again to get your 2.5'' of lift, and keep the pass side not maxed, to give the same 2.5''.  But the problem will probably continue to get worse...

So I will need to replace the torsion bar on the drivers side...???
also, Im needed to hook up trailer lighting wireing to it. Is there anything I can buy that hooks up? or will I have to wire it myself?
