My Blazer got broken into and the radio stolen... so in puting in a new Kenwood, I'm looking all over and I can't find the radio antenna. Can someone tell me where it comes from? I'm afraid the jerk who broke in just yanked it out, but I don't see any thing at all to indicate where it might have been. I'm lost on this one and looking for any help or suggestions! OK, I finally found the antenna wire, and it's broken off as I feared. Anyone know how to replace/fix it? edit... I found the repair part I needed at RadioShack; here is the link http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102835&cp=&sr=1&origkw=motorola+plug&kw=motorola+plug&parentPage=search Its going to be tough to install the repair plug on the stub of cable thats left, but once it is in, I'll use the Metra extension cable that I found at AutoZone, Metra number AW-EC144. It is 12 feet long, but not too big so I should be able to tie it back out of the way. Not much money for these two items, but a real pain to track them down and install them. I sure hope no one else has to go through a breakin and radio theft. Theives are always in a hurry and they don't care what they damage. Thanks
