Is it true if you put in a throttle bady space you will have to change the fuel lines because they wont reach ?

A TBS is not going to gain you anything in the way of performance on your engine, so why even bother? All you're going to get is maybe a slight whistling sound.

Fuel lines and throttle body spacers have nothing in common on the '96+ SCFI motor. 

And I agree, using a TBS on these engines is a waste.  The 4.3L has gobs of torque down low already with a fairly low peak torque RPM.  A TBS will reduce HP up high enough to offset any and all gains down low.

Okay so i wont bother ill just stay with the cold air intake and heat sheild.  But would it help save gas ?
