So I had some surface rust on my 99 Jimmy. Bottom of the doors, bit on the rear wheel well and some on the back bumper. Mostly due to paint chippage and the metal being exposed. I sanded off all the rust, cleaned the surfaces, taped off and put on 3 coats of rust killer primer. I had a spray bomb of paint made up of my paint(pewter). Now, what should my next step be? A few coats of the paint, wet sand, then some clear? (if i can get spray bombs of clear) I'm hoping it matches fairly decent as I'm going to be selling the truck, and I'm hoping being rid of the rust will snag me a few hundred more in the sale.
