On tuesday night, my sister and her boyfriend had been drinking, and they go to around where i live, and she said that she was too drunk to drive him home, so when he said he was just going to walk the rest of the way (about 7 miles) she offered for him to just take her car, on his way home, he was doing 115 when he came up on the curve, and lost control and rolled 7 times before the car stopped on its roof, He suffered a fractured neck, lots of gashes, and a major concussion. Until this afternoon, he had to recolection of who he was or when it was...

This is where he came from, he came into the corner, and went into the oncoming lane, then brought it back too hard and hit a phone pole lieing on the ground, which caused him to go airborne.

while he was in the air, he hit an aluminum light pole which snapped from the bottom.

Warning, not suitable for those with weak stomachs, contains blood.

Wow!  Lucky to be alive.  Hopefully this will change his view on drinking and driving.

1.  Is everyone ok?
2.  Is that blood or mud?
3.  Are you scrapping the aluminum pole for $$$?

Steve, might want to either put a warning in the title or make the headliner pic a click through (Gary you too).  Might turn the stomachs of some people.

Somehow, he wasnt charged with DUI, but he was charged with speeding, reckless driving, and driving without a liscence. Im pretty sure my sister knew he didnt have one, but my family including me didnt know that. The blood test will show alcohol though, so he might get another charge, not sure.

i really don't feel bad for these type of people if your dumb enough to get behind the wheel wasted, You need to lose your license for life, (which he never had but still)  There are to many innocent people with small kids and families that can die because of someone else being a dumbass.   but im glad everything is ok.

I HAVE NO sympathy for hurt or dead drunk drivers.  Better them get hurt or killed than to kill some innocent family driving down the road.  I had a cousin ran over by a drunk driver....

My stance...you get caught drinking and driving ONCE...they take your car...PERIOD!  No excuse for this type of SUPIDITY!

Honestly, the best thing to come of that is he didn't kill/maim someone else. His own death would have been justified, although unfortunate of course. I do have to say if your sis knew he didn't have a license AND had been drinking, that situation is quite a bit her fault too.

If you cause an accident and are under the influence in most european states, it means automatic-jailtime, and I can't agree more. Wish they had it here.

Google "Jacqueline Saburido" if you want to see a sad example of how this can play out, almost worse than death, as some of you may know burn victims often kill themselves...
