My Interior lights on my 94 S10 Blazer are hung up. They won''t go off. Had to pull fuse out to get them to go off. They ran my battery down. Any clue why they would be doing this? I checked the door jams and even with the button pushed in they still would not go off. Please help.

Do not take this the wrong way, but is your dimmer switch all the way up?

When you push the door jam switch is there a flicker at all?
I would remove the door jam switches and see if they go out, it could be a switch shorted to ground.

Make sure the switch on the dash is off and the switch in the cargo area light is off first. Then check your door switches.

Yeah, once you have ruled out the obvious, you need to remove ALL of the door switches and check them.  They should show continuity when the button is out (from the spade in back to the body of the switch) and open when the button is in.  If any test otherwise, there is your problem.

Yeah I checked the dimmer switch and cargo switch they are both off and are not bothering it. I will check the door jam switches and see if that is the problem thanks!

About a year ago the cargo area switch started going out on mine and it would turn the lights on when I hit a bump or the dog bumped the truck. Saw the dog hit it one night and the light popped on and I thought the dog was gonna run on top of the pond trying to get away, lol.
