BigDean -> 1989 S-10 Blazer 4.3 with High Idle (6/26/2008 6:58:50 PM)
Hello All... I am having a problem with my Blazer. High Idle on start up and will not come down. I have changed the IAC and I know it is most commonly a vacuum issue, but I can''t find a leak. Any ideas?

My first guess would be the throttle body base gasket. Use an unlit propane torch around the base of the TBI unit with the engine running. Listen for a change in the sound the engine is making.
