i looked up the RPO''s and found out that i have posi.  The bad thing is that it doesnt work.  I think it is powered by vacuume correct me if im wrong but were does the line connect. im assuming that i have a bad line.  if anyone could tell me what to do it would help alot out on the trails.

RPO code G80?  It is not vacuum controlled.  How did you test to see if it works?  They lock up if they see an axle speed difference of 20mph through a weighted clutch type of mechanism.  It is purely mechanical.

Could be busted.  You''d need to open up the diff to determine if it is.

Have you owned the truck since new?  Its also possible that someone swapped in a different rear end.
