I want my exhaust to sound close to a v8 i know i cant make it like a v8 cause its not one.  Im thinking about getting the flowmaster super 44 series muffler.  what i dont know is what size my stock input pipe is and what size output pipe i should run.

the stock exhaust pipe is 2.25" and im pretty sure that most of the guys on here running exhaust systems upgrade to a 2.50" pipe

If you do an upgrade to 2.5 is it just from the cat back or do you have to change downpipe and manifolds? Dumb question I know, but I have not messed with either of those.
