ok i know a few of you have thos surco roof racks that attach to the lugage rack, my only beef with thos are that they dont cover your entire roof, they stop above the back doors, my question is does anyone know of a roof rack that you can buy for the 1st gen blazers that goes all the way to the top of the winshield?

You can buy different length racks.  The one I have is 40x60.  You could go up to the 50x72.  Although the problem then is that your farthest forward mount is going to be by the back of the drivers door.  That''s alot of unsupported weight if you put anything up front..

yea i understand that id probably put some legs on teh front maybe with some double sided tape, or if i wanna be brave ill drill and mount it with screws its just a thought, the other problem i have with mounting it to the luggage rack is it makes it fairley high witch makes it hard to squeeze under branches and trees

Haha oh yes...that too...I can''t park in most parking decks with the tire up top.  It works out though... you get to park in the oversized vehicle parking that''s right at the front of the decks
