i was putting some long tube headers on my 86 k5 when i noticed a problem.  the passenger side header''s collector is only about a 1/2 inch away from the front drive shaft.  is this gonna rub if i hit a bump or anything, or should it be okay?  if it WILL rub, will a 2 inch lift take care of it, im at stock height right now.

When one thread is not enough...

Have you driven it?  Does it sound like it is hitting?

not yet, putting new tranny in right now.  just had some quick free time and tossed them on.  i was gonna drive it around a little bit and check it out, ease down a ditch or something and see what happens.  just thought iwould see if anyone knew for sure before i decided to test it and break something.
