I have a 98 Blazer. I have a custom sound system which includes a 4 ohm Solo Baric s15inch L7 kicker sub and a zx1000watt amp. This pushes out 1000 watts it shakes my rear view mirror and causes to much rattling noise. I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this?

hahahah

as for your problem...You would have to figure out what is actually rattling on the mirror.  There arn''t really many parts to rattle...If it''s the plastic casing rattling against the window or the metal mount, then you just need to tighten the mirror down.  If the metal is rattling against the glass, you need to either wait for it to fall off or pop it off, then re-attach it firmly.

The better question though...is how have you eliminated every other rattle in the vehicle with that much power, that you''re worried about the rear view mirror....

ok, this is a little ghetto, but no on will ever notice it. a buddy of mine had the same problem and to solve it, it wrapped some electrical tape around the part that is connected to the windshield, you never see it, but for some reason it worked for him.
