I have some LED''s in my blazer.  I want them to be able to turn on when the dome light goes on and i want to be able to turn them on at anytime even if the dome light is off.  I found a switch that i think will work but is says its for 125VAC.  Will this work for my blazer or not. If it does would this work how on want it to.  http://order.waytekwire.com/CGI-BIN/LANSAWEB?WEBEVENT+L0F971C01755703004FD5072+M37+ENG

your link doesnt work. Sounds like you will have to wire up a complicated array of relays.

You could use one relay with a double trigger. Some diodes can be used as to not back feed into the dome light circuit. A great resource for 12v electrical setups is the12volt.com.

since it is an on-off-on switch with 5 terminal would i be able to wire it so i could leave it fliped on on way so it will go on with the dome and fliped the other way to turn it on manually.  also will this switch work for 12volt.

If it is a SPDT or DPDT switch, then yeah, you could supply +12V constant to one ''throw'' of the switch and then have the dome light circuit supply +12V to the other ''throw'' of the switch.
