who took the place of the blazer. the trail blazer or the equinox. the blazer was small suv and the trail blazer is big. just was thinking.

and the blazer did it come in a a zr2/zr5 4 door model or just the truck and 2 door?

and when will the new stuff for this site be finished? it is a pain now.

thanks to all

The Trailblazer is the evolution of the S-series SUV.  The ZR2 was never offered in a 4door SUV.

I hate it because I cannot give a full explanation.  My response is not direct and to the point, it is clipped.  Not to mention the fact that I had to attempt it 5 different times, cutting it down at each attempt.  I don''t know why I bother anymore.

Kyle I''ve found you can make a first post with limited characters, then edit it each time adding that same amount of characters...sucks...but that''s how i''''ve been leaving longer responses

The trailblazer is definitely the closest relative..body-on-frame construction, but with better suspension, engine, room, etc.  The equinox is unibody construction, and can only mentioned as a relative to a car/sedan

Realated question: If the trailblazer replaced the blazer, does it have the same cappabilites as the blazer? meaning can it even go offroad cause its pretty low, or is it just for looks. cause they are nice.

Pretty low?  My Rainier has at least 1" more ground clearance than a stock S-series Blazer (non-ZR2).

I always thought they were pretty close in ground clearance and motortrend.com has the base Ranier at 8 inches and the Blazer LS at 7.6 inches (193 mm).

I like the blazer in the woods because of its size, these trucks are small...

A Rainier is a Trailblazer for all intensive purposes.  Different styling is all.

I''d rather have a blazer for offroading because of it''s size.

Rainier > Envoy > Trailblazer.  Not that anythings wrong with ''em, but you get all the features of the lesser model, plus more...why pass ''em up?
