i was wonting to get a mac book pro for school but i don''t know if it works the same way. what do you all think. btw i want to go to collage for computer graphics.

macs are decent on the graphics end of things...but dont become one of the people that come into Circuit City saying "I need some blank DVDs....for a mac''''''''

You can still do most of the things you will need to do with a PC, seeing as how you''ll be given the software by the school..

I have the black 13" Macbook and the graphics are pretty good. I believe there is a significant upgrade when you go with the pro.

I used one in High School for graphics/video editing and it sucked. Constintaly crashing and shutting down, I guess thats why our teacher told us to save our work every 10-20 minutes. These were top of the line at the time too.

I have done some video editing with my Vista Desktop and I havent had a bit of problems, also did some with my XP Pro Lap Top and didnt have any problems.
