I was planning on doing the standard t-bar crank and shackle lift on my blazer. I crawled under to take a look and found that the t-bar bolt on the passenger side can be adjusted, but the drivers side key is already maxed out and the key bolt is bottomed out. the blazer is at stock ride height and sitting level. Do I need to replace the tbar? is this a wear and tear issue or is it possible that its more serious?

Sounds like the torsion bar on the driver side has weakened over time and someone has re-leveled the truck to compensate. If you want to lift it more, you would most likely have to either get lift keys or new torsion bars. If it were me, I would get new torsion bars.

does anyone know if the bars from a 4x4 regular cab s10 pickup are the same as the LT blazer''s? I cant deem to find torsion bars for a blazer at any of my local parts stores or mail order catalouge, save for LMC who wants 270 per side.

What do you hope to accomplish with that?
