Looking at a manual RHD, are they troublesome?

I find the clutch rather hard and shifting kind of heavy compared to any fourbanger - Guess its the extra weight huh.

As long as you know how to drive them right they are fine.

My Blazer is pretty much effortless to shift...

Depends on what you''''re used to, I guess...

I''''ve driven 1-ton dually Ford V-10s with the 6 speed and it shifts easier than my Blazer...

There''''s not a whole lot of variation in pedal feel when you''''re dealing with hydraulic clutches...

I''''ve driven 4 bangers that are harder to shift than my rig...

Other than clutch replacement, on the whole, the manual transmissions are more reliable than a stock 4L60-E

However, they can''t take as much power as the auto, and you have a much lower towing capacity because of the clutch.
