I have an old PPI amp, and I just bought a 15" Rockford P1 sub that has an 8 ohm SVC. My amp puts out 360 watts at 4 ohms, so does that mean my subs only getting 180 watts? It sounds just as loud if not louder then the 2 10" kickers that I just sold which were wired for 2 ohm and they were getting 180 watts each. I was also thinking about taking the sub back and getting 2 used 12" JL w3''s for 150, which would be louder? Thanks in advance for you help.

 I''m using this one: http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/PPI_PPI_2360/
All the info on there is correct except it has 2 25 amp fuses, not 30 amps.

Never mind, I took the sub back and picked up a 12" Elemental Design E12O.44, A million times better, but now I need a bigger amp. 360 watts barely moves this thing.
