I would be very interested in one of these. Especially If I could fit my brush guard on it or make one built in. As long as there are mounting spots for lights/winch, i''m in.

I''''d be interested in a rear bumper...but definitely waiting to see your front one! And about the brush guard, the fullsize truck has a brush guard, with the custom bumper behind it. I take it from your response the brush guard was aftermarket, and is not part of the bumper fabrication.

Where are you located? Anywhere near NC?

that is all hand made, the "pushbar" part of it was part of the bumper not a bumper with a push bar wleded to it, all that is made up from scrap.

95BLZR- you want somewhat his style on his truck? with a push bar look for the headlights?

the biggest thing that is holding all of this up is the fact that my real bos(guy my friend with bumpers is renting garage bay from) has been taking FOREVER to get him adiquite power to rull all teh pipe benders, welders and all that great stuff. i am pushing him to get the power lines in so we can start makeing atleast mine then some for soem of you guys. i will make a quick paint pic of what mine will look like.

an exact coppy of mine would be the cheepest thing you guys could get as we would of already done it once. we will see if we can get some basic designs we can produce over and over to help on cost but they will still not be cheep. think of buying a new factory chrome bumper and then a new push bar, that woudlnt be cheep eather right? i am seeing what i can do for prices but one around my basic design will be about 400. pic will be up soon for you guys.

ok, these pics are very RUFF, first off, my blazer isnt even lifted thats just me dreaming in paint. the white is 3in galvinized, red is diamond plate, will be flat on top going towrd truck to mount the lights on, the blue will be all filled in as they will be my skid plates. the white going up will not be 3in just the main peace in front. again these are real ruff.

as for REAR BUMPER, i have to get those side things pulled off and see how it looks under there and see what is doable. from the front of mine set up you will see a good amount of the front tires.

wallahh...

I think if you blow those pics posted then they will just become blotchy. So are you going to be making rocker guards, and if so how about rocker guards for a 2in BL''ed blazer.

ROCK SLIDERS??!?!?!?!  Pretty much the easiest thing to make...just need some welding know how:

With the vertical parts being the weld points onto the frame rails.

I want those too.  And butters as for a rear bumper, I think it might be easier, and fit better, to just leave the side caps on, remove rear bumper, and make a tube rear, with side flarings around the side caps.

And $400 would not be bad at all for a nice front bumper. Only problem I see is SRS integration...I would still like my airbags to deploy..

Yes rock sliders, I was going to make some out of some think tubing a buddies dad got but he cut the tube up and made a welding table haha. So either I can wait for more tubing and strugle with bending it because he doesnt have a bender, plus its really thick. Or, I can just buy some, and less expensive then jiggs.

Yea the same style as the one you posted. With the guard for the headlights. Ill be in NY for a few months so I can even drive up to pick it up/put it on. Just would like a place to mount a winch and 2 fogs. Also 2 tow hooks would''nt be bad.

ok, once we get my bumper and maybe a couple other peoples we should make some rocker guards(i already slammed mine so we have to haha)

the rear bumper could be made keeping the side things on and if you want that well it would be way cheeper. i myself do not want factory end caps on my truck.

95BLAZR not quite sure what you meen, how much for us to attach the lights/winch? my bumper is keeping factoy tow hooks

that woudl be a lot more as we do not have a flat metal (whatever called) bender, that is what he wanted me to get for mine. his friend dies that and we could make it but wouldnt be crazy cheep.

The problem is going to be having enough strength to take the force of the winch pulling.  The Synergy Offroad winch mount goes between the front frame rails, and pulls inline with the frame.  If you mounted a winch on top of the new bumper, you''''d be basically using the bumper as a lever to bend the frame up..yikes

Yeah, you really need to nestle the winch mount down between the frame rails.  If it were mounted on top, it would attempt to bend the frame down if you were really stuck in/on anything real good.

On a side note, I am not sure if the FST section is appropriate for this discussion.  You do not currently have a product that is for sale.  You really are discussing what would be best to have which would probably be best in one of the Modification sections, whether it be performance & brainstorming or paint, body, & interior...

You will have to let us know the weight when it is done....  as long as it isn''t extremely heavy I might be interested.
