ok a friend of mine and me are trying to start a local shop making bumpers, roof baskets and stuff like that. he is a certified welder and has made some sweet bumpers, i am getting my new front bumper made now and i am wondering if anyone else would be interested in getting one made? these are NOT push bars, you take off your bumper and put this on very strong and rugged. i can get some pics of what he has made so far for examples and mine once it is done. please give me some ideas and your comments, thansk

I for one would need to see pics of ones he has done (bumpers, roof baskets, etc) before any interest could be sparked.

Thanks, Shane

he does both, he was trying to convice me to go with the flat steel on my blazer but i dont like the look of it. i am working at his shop later today and will get some pics of the ones on his truck. keep in mind his truck is a lifted 3500 duramaxx duelle so the bumpers are bigger then you would ever want on your blazer. his rear is over 600 pounds and front is 816 pounds. anyway i should be able to get some pics up soon thanks

I''d be interested, depending on the price point. I''m having trouble finding a decent brush guard for my ''96 that''s not really expensive.

What would it cost for a bumper like the one posted, but without the brush bar? for my 1995 S-10 blazer. And it can be scrap.

Thanks, shane

not sure what you meen about the brush bar part. the hardest thing is i dont have a 95 blazer to get dimentions from. is that the same as a 96 blazer front end? if so after much considerationabout front bumpers for mine if you have the same front end as my 96 a rap around bumper just wouldnt look that great as the truck looks more funtional with a prerunner style front bumper(what im making for mine) then the wrap around the front end. i you woudl like to mess aroudn in paint/photoshop with your truck im sure i could get a ruff price.

I''d be interested in a rear bumper...but definitely waiting to see your front one! And about the brush guard, the fullsize truck has a brush guard, with the custom bumper behind it. I take it from your response the brush guard was aftermarket, and is not part of the bumper fabrication.

Where are you located? Anywhere near NC?

I believe the 96 is the same. I''m sure some one will correct me if I''m wrong, lol. the prerunner type would be good to as long as i can mount my 12,000 lb winch on it. could i get some pics of what it would look like? And i have four off-road lights that i would be mounting to it.

Thanks, shane
