96 4.3, 4x4 I have the superlift upper control arms and opted for the Duralast ball joints during my rebuild. Just took it to the alignment shop, a buddy of mine, he says bother upper ball joints got like 3/8 inch of play in them, like the ball/socket joint itself. Could I have gotten a bad set or is this normal? I used part # FA1676, did I need a different set since I have the superlift control arms or is it still the OEM joint? Yeah, I should of went with Moog, but really wasnt planning on keeping the Blazer very long after the rebuild.

Got it back from alignment shop and the top joints are bad. Its not the bolt moving in the hub either, its the ball joint. Actually moves quite a bit. Not even 500 miles on the top ones, guess maybe I got a bad set?? I checked superlift site and no mention of special ball joint number or anything for their upper control arms. I ordered some moog, so i will swap out the duralasts on top. The duralasts on the bottom seem fine.
