What have you done to try to correct this problem?  I would say that you have a spark leak in the distributor and or spark plug wires.  The water helps conduct the spark to ground before it gets to the plug.

To verify, at night with the engine running, take a spray bottle with water in it and mist the spark plug wires and distributor.  If you see sparks jumping out, then that is your problem.  A new distributor cap and rotor as well as new plugs and wires should cure this problem.

yeah thats what I was thinking... I had a similar problem but it threw a random miss fire code... On the cap and rotor make sure there is not contact except from the pin... On an replacement rotor from autozone there is a plastic piece on the top closest to the cap that was rubbing on mine which caused a random miss fire in time.  Also on your cap make sure there is only one small mark on each metal pin from spark contact... If a lot of the pins have white on them then your sparks are jumping around quite a bit
