I recently put cold air intake on i noticed a unconnected hose that goes into front diff. I cannot find anywhere that i might have pulled it off around the original air filter box.

Is it just a vent hose or is it some kind of vacum hose. It is about 1/2 in diameter

thanks for help

Yup, just a vent.  It should have a plastic vent cap on the end of it to keep stuff from getting into it.
