ok i drive a 2001 blazer ls 4.3. and when i got in it this morning to go to work i pulled on the door handle and the bottom half of the door broke. no biggy ima find another one 4 cheap hopefully but my real problem is my passenger side window won''t roll up and i can figure out why. i beleive something came unplugged cause its getting juice. when i roll up other windows if i press the button it slows down the speed of the other windows but it doesn''t even get a click or anything. pls help and thnks

sounds like you have a window motor out..... if this is the case just simply have to drill out a few rivits then drill holes in the panel to run bolts through and fasten with a nut

If the window isn''t jammed, the motor is probably gone as stated above.  Once you drill the rivets, the bolts will install in the holes the rivets were through.

yes the same holes sorry i didnt mean to drill all new holes but to increase the size of the original holes to fit a bolt through.

My driver''s window won''t always go up.  I finally figured out that if I pry up the part of the door, that holds the window switches (that doing so apparently wiggles the offending wire), the window then goes back up.

It''s worth a try.  There''s just a clip holding it in place.  I think I pry backwards on it(just with my fingers), and it pops out.  Window goes back up!
