Hey all, I''m in the process of replacing the seal that fits between the knuckle and cv axle on my ''93 olds bravada. I was wondering what I should use to lubricate the flange on the seal that seats on the cv axle. Should I use oil, grease, or nothing at all. When I did my control arm bushings about a month ago I noticed that they were deteriorated so I just slapped some grease on ''em and put it  back together. When I went to change one of them today I noticed the sealing flange had completely seperated from the rest of the seal. Was this due to the grease making to much friction on the old seal causing it to come apart like that, I know this may seem counter intuitive, but maybe the grease is to thick and oil would be a better solution. This is the first time I''ve been unsure of what kinda lubricant a seal might need for the application. Thanks for any feedback.
