i was told theres a newer version of injecters that moves the injecter directly into the head instead of using the poppet valves if this is true wat year models did this option come on

If you have a 96+ SCFI motor, then there is in fact a replacement spider assembly which moves the electronic injectors out to replace the sometimes problematic poppet nozzles.  CLICK HERE for a thread with the PNs as well as trouble shooting steps.
