I HAVE A 96 BLAZER ZR2 THAT HAD A 4.3 VORTEC AND A 4L80 TRANS IN IT. I TOOK THE 4.3 OUT AND PUT A 350 VORTEC WITH A 700R4 IN IT NOW. BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT I''M STUCK. I DID EVERYTHING BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE OLD CROSSMEMBER FOR THE TRANSMISSION, I CANT USE IT. SO NOW I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER CROSSMEMBER. I WAS TRYING TO ASK ANY ONE ON HERE HAVE THEY EVER DID THAT. CAN I GET ONE OFF ANOTHER TRUCK OR DO I HAVE TO GET ON MADE? ANY HELP

First, calm down with the CAPS lock man...  Second, please do not post the same question in multiple sections.

There are subtle differences in the length of the transmissions.  Your 96 had a 4L60E transmission to begin with.  You will have to modify the cross member to work with the different engine/transmission combo.  You could have lined everything up with both engines/transmissions next to each other and fabricated the motor mounts to account for the difference in transmission lengths, but if you purchased v8 mounts for an s-series, then you will have to modify the cross member as I already stated.

Your gonna have to make your own crossmember not really that hard to do. I think if you did that engine swap as long as you can weld this will be no problem.
