Im preparing to do a sfa swap just have a few questions... doing a spring over in the rear how many inches will that gain?    How does the front driveshaft come out of the t case?  And also i see alot of sfa guys doing away with all sway bars on there straight axels? anyone have some pointers?? thanks a bunch!

spring over will give you 4+ inches without blocks, i wouldnt run sway bars either if you spend alot of time off road. not sure about the front driveshaft but i would think it just bolts on with the u-joint u bolts

I wouldn''t get rid of your sway bars unless you plan to trailer it everywhere. The sway bar limits your articulation, which is the opposite of what youd be gaining with the SFA/SOA. If you want to have it streetable and offroad ready, make some sway bar disconnects. Although if you go with a Dana axle, there will already be aftermarket sway bar quick disconnects out there for your new sway bar. You''ll just have to custom mount it to the body...but that wouldn''t be much since you custom fabbing your front end

Actually, if you are going to drive it on the road at all, I would recommend keeping the sway bar and getting longer quick disconnects for it.  With the change in center of gravity, anti-sway bars will be even more beneficial to keeping the truck controllable at regular highway speeds.

LMAO!  That is what I get for writing a post before lunch, then submitting it after!!  Great minds think alike!
