I have searched forever and I''''m confussed as hell !!
I have a 95 "w" code engine,Can I use the good heads 96 + (461?) on my 95 with the cpi ?

you can but did the 95''s intake have the vortec bolt pattern? if not i found a thread somewhere that claims you can have them redrilled

I just looked around at parts and a 97 and 96 vin W head would not fit your 95 vin W. Im guessing a 95 probably has roller rockers since both the 96 and 97 specify not for roller rockers where the 95 doesnt mention it.

If you do use the newer heads you will also need the corresponding intake manifold. Watch for that info as you read through the article.
