my 97 blazer is leaking antifreeze from building up to much pressure and leaking out of the over flow its a new radiator replaced the thermostat no leaks anywhere except the tube out of the overflow i also replaced the cap i dont know why it even holds pressure after sitting for a day please let me know what you think thanks jay

Hey, I have experienced an upside down thermostat, It will cause that problem. I also found that the DEXCOOL coolant will gel up and cause a blockage. You may try a system flush after checking the thermostat. I bought my ''00 in ''05 and immediately had to do a system flush because the temperature spiked repetitively. Hope it helps.

You probably just have alot of air in your system. Park with the front end up, and elevate the passengers side. Easiest is uphill, and then pop the passenger''s front tire up on the curb. Run the engine and it will circulate the air to the front. Vent, and refill.
