Which are better plugs the AC delco platinums or the AC delco rapid fires the rapidfires are 4.99 and platinums are 6.99 but the rapid fires are a platinum and they say performance plug just wondering which would be better being that they are both AC delco platinums

Feel free to try whatever you think is worth it. It''s your money. But when you get a stutter/hesitation in a little while, just know we''re going to say go back to regular delcos..

GM spec''d the Double Platinums for the engine, so stick with them. Saving 12 bucks isn''t worth the hassle of changing the plugs twice.

I will install AC Delco Rapidfire #1 plugs (GM-25164639)  the next time I install plugs.
1.) It is worth a few dollars to find out for myself if they are worth the extra cost.
2.) If they extend a tune up for  10,000 additional miles compared to the standard AC Delco plugs, not having to change the plugs for those extra miles would be worth the extra cost.

The beer you spill during the week costs more than what the extra price for those plugs would be.
