i read this post http://www.blazerforum.com/m_176752/tm.htm and my car seems to be doing the same thing (2003 LS) it started out being a mo fo to get into gear, it felt like the clutch wouldnt engauge until i had it all they way to the floor. then got worse after about 5 miles. by the time i got back to my house in my drive way. my clutch went all the way to my floor and didnt do anything. it felt really loose. i also checked the fluid and looked very black. was wondering if anyone knew what could be wrong or could tell me how to flush out my lines and everything. or if something could have stripped out and needs to be tightened up. any help i would appreciate.

i also put my 2" body lift on but dont know how that would cause this problem. any info is great.

thanks
brian

There is a bleeder on the side of the transmission bell housing either above or below where the hydraulic line enters.  It will work basically like bleeding the brakes.  If that does not help, then the clutch has likely gone bad and is in need of replacement.

same thing happened to my dads ranger, sounds like bad clutch. auto parts store sells them for about $150 they give you everything you''ll need to replace it
