Just noticed a ''tick'' sound in my 91 S10 Blazer - think it might be a lifter. Replace immed or OK to drive for a while?

Thanks!

i just got a tick in mine also, and a gasket replacement did the trick. this is the gasket between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe.

^^^ What he said. I had a nissan pathfinder that would tick due to the exaust manifold warping and then cracking (design flaw). Wouldn''t suprise me one bit if you had a bad manifold gasket. It wouldn''t hurt to inspect the manifold(s) for cracks though.
