After a lot of procrastintion & talking to as many people as possible here in NZ as well as on the forum, I have plunged in & ordered the black projectors for my truck. If they don''''t work or fit. I''''ll have blown $450 bucks ($289 US) They only cost $89US the rest was for shipping so no point in trying for a refund or selling on to anyone else.

The Chevy specialists want to see the projectors before they can confirm if they can help. At the same time they''ll look into programming the BCM to recognise the fog lights.

In the meantime, I''ve painted the headlight surrounds black & moved the fogs to the lower valance.
