hey guys heres my problem...
yesterday morning (cold start)while i was backing up my truck outta the drive way i started hearing several pops from under the hood and then the truck would die right after, this kept hapening for a while until flames started comming outta the carb. I let it rest for a while as this had never happened to me before. anyway i got it running after a while and went where i had to go, once i got back i parked it in front of my house and it stayed there until late in the afternoon, when i tried to pull it into the driveway it would die when i shifted into drive.

its got a 2bbl Motorcraft 2100 carb with an adaptor, the choke plate is alway set parallel so im guessing its running lean, though im not sure...
also spark plug seem to be collecting oil, could this be causing misfiring?
