i need a shifter boot like the one in this picture:
http://magtec.rvglug.org/misc/blazer/interior2.jpg

the boot must be grey or black leather in reasonably good condition - no rips, large scratches or broken ribs. they can be found in 95+ blazers and probably s10s, jimmys, etc. with floor shifted automatics. a grey or black leather shift knob in decent condition with a working button would be a bonus, but is not necessary.

removal note: the shifter boot pops out of the console with a little wiggling and maybe a flathead screwdriver (be careful not to break the bottom rib). pop out the 1st gear end first, the park end has a tab that cannot be removed without removing the other end. on the park side of the shift knob there is a large staple. pry it out with a flathead screwdriver, then pull the knob off of the shift lever.

i'm willing to trade or find smallish parts for other vehicles. if you find a boot, let me know how much you want or what you need and we'll go from there.

edit:
while we're at it, i also need a few other little doohickeys:
- overhead console button: http://magtec.rvglug.org/misc/blazer/needed/ohcbutton.jpg
- center console cover release: http://magtec.rvglug.org/misc/blazer/needed/ccrelease.jpg
- glovebox relay cover: http://magtec.rvglug.org/misc/blazer/needed/glovebox.jpg
- grey passenger lighted vanity visor

thanks for your time. :) i'd be out looking for this stuff myself, but the yards here usually don't stock vehicles less than 10 years old. that, and it's pretty mucky this time of year.

I'll keep an eye out the next time I'm at the local pick-n-pull.

Problem with the floor shifter boot is that there weren't a lot of floor shift models produced. And the boot isn't the same as what was used in the Bravada like mine...

thanks :) i wasn't aware the floor shifters were so rare in the late '90s blazers.

the problem with the boot on mine is that the bottom rib that is supposed to snap into the console is broken, so the boot keeps popping out of place. it's pretty much purely cosmetic, but it's bugging the crap out of me. velcro doesn't seem stick to it very well, and i don't want to permanently adhere it to the console.

I thought they only existed in internet pictures! They're rare here too.

Definitely a VERY rare option.

I just did a quick scan through the LMC Truck Catalog, but did not find anything past '93...

for some reason i thought gm phased out the column shifters after '94, making the floor shifter standard. this is a two door '97 ls, by the way.
