Alright well I've decided to finaly drop my blazer. I was looking at the lowest I can find which is 4 front 5 back. Can this actually be done on a blazer and exactly how low will this put me? Also Do I have to do anything special for that low of a drop?

shouldn't have to do any cutting. best bet would be to call the manufacturer and make sure its a bolt on kit and no cutting or notching is necessary. what company were u looking at?

I dont remember who I was talking to bout it but someone on the forum said they had dropped a blazer 4/5 and had to make a tunel for the driveshaft, and had to move the rear seats.

What are you going to use to drop it? Are you going to use 2" drop spindles and 3" shorter coils? How bout out back?

I gotta check the kit out more and find out I just saw 4,5 and i was like omg! lol. If I have have to tunnel the driveshaft and move seats I'll say screw it and just 3,4 it with spindles and blocks

Here is what it will look like with 2" drop spindles, 3" shorter coils and 3" drop blocks in back. Don't forget to flip your rear brake lines. Might also want to get a C-notch.

The brake lines run in an arch shape to the caliper. After you lower the back the frame will rub against the brake line. You want the brake line to look like a U shape. Just disconnect the banjo fitting from the caliper, flip the line so it looks like a U, then reinstall the banjo fitting. Probably will need to bleed brakes too. This will prevent the brake line from rubbing against the frame.

Should look like this when done

You don't have to. I knew I was bagging mine eventually so I did it. With a 3" drop it will rub a little, but would probably be OK. I did not want to take any chances so I flipped.

Belltech makes a 2" drop spindle. I don't think anyone makes a 3". They are the most expensive part of the drop. I think I paid $250 for mine. They are not the same as the S-10. The Blazers have a sealed hub. I think that is the reason the spindles are more expensive. Also get the Belltech 3" shorter coil springs. I also went with the monotube drop shocks from Belltech also.

I got all of my stuff from Stylin Concepts but it does not hurt to shop around.

No one makes 3 inch spindles anymore they were found to be unsafe. I got my 2 inch spindles for $50(thanks to zero psi).
LORCLAS I wish my blazer has rear disk brakes.
I'm looking to drop mine 3 more in the front and take my 3 inch blocks out the back and get 4 inchers.

Might want to go with drop leafs and the 3" block. I hear the 4" block is not that safe. Kinda like the 3" drop spindles. Too much drop out of one thing.

3 inch control arms are awsome, they are just to pricey for me though.

Springs and spindles will keep your steering angles in check. I know a lot of people that did the static drop I described earlier with no problems. Plus if you run bags eventually you will need the spindles. Springs and blocks are inexpensive. Spindles are the most expensive part of the drop. Spend the extra bux and get the Belltech monotube shocks too.

Don't forget the notch too.

Think I could JUST get away with the springs or do I need the spindles too?

You can just do springs for now. I would wait and do spindles at the same time. Unless you don't mind doing the work twice.
