I'm having trouble finding an exhaust sytem for my 01 xtreme. I can only find it for either 2 door ZR2 models or 4 doors. But nothing for mine. Should I just get a custom exhaust made or does anyone know where I can find one? Also, should I get a catback with straight duals or single, keep the factory curve or should I get the full exhaust (headers, downpipe, etc.)? Damn, that's a lot of questions! Thanks in advance.

i would by a universal muff and high flow cat and get custom job done on...better off knowing it will be piped right (that is if you can find a good custom exhaust place) im having trouble finding one around my area ... i went to three guys 2 out of the 3 guys had a woundering eye lol as far as the headers go i would wait to put those on until you have a conciderable amount of engine mods under your belt...i dunno what you have done already soo.... as far as dual or single thats all a matter of prefrence i think.....

There is a place here in town that I hear is pretty good and reasonably priced too. What brand of high flow cat and muffler would you recommend getting? I was thinking either of gibson or flowmasters maybe even borla. The only engine mod that I have done so far is a cold air intake.

gibson sounds good on both the 2.2l and tha 5.7l...so its got to sound good on the 4.3l...right? i heard borlas nice too, but flowmasters played out. don't sound like everyone else...stay away from flowmaster. just my $0.02.
