So ive had my 2 door blazer 4x4 for almost a week now and have went out and found every side trials, mud hole, and gravil pit i could find and nothing even seems to faze it. So far I have had to put it in four wheels drive once lol and thats just cause i was spinnin like crazy makin sure the new truck got nice and muddy for her first facial and barried the hole backend in mud. I put it in the auto 4 wheel and it just pulled right out without any fight. I mean this thing is just the stock suspension no ZR2 suspension with the stock 29.5 inch tires and it just eats through ****. One of the trials i goes on gets pretty deep and me and my buddy have got his jeep very stuck in there and the blazer just stomps through it with ease. Just thought i would post it up I will have pics as soon as we are fully moved and i can figure out which box i packed away the digital camera, ill try to get some good short video clips also.

Tires make a HUGE difference. Get something with traction for where you go wheeling.

Ya for sure thats what im saying, same problem here in central new york. I showed my wifey the webpage of that place and shes ready to go and get muddy. 150 miles worth of four wheeling trails would be like me in a candy store when i was a little kid. LOL i also know i would never pay for a guid to bring me through all the trails, I will prolly end up lost out in the woods haha should be a good time.

Glad to hear she's interested. I wonder if it gets just as hot N humid there.

Trail riding, windows down, head out the window, and A/C full blast!

Sounds like its time to hook up with a local off-roading club.
Some are stickly for Jeeps, some say they accept other makes, yet critize anything other then a Jeep, and then there are good clubs for all makes.
Do a web search for your area.

Ya i did some looking for my area and couldn't seem to much as far as clubs go. Ya jeeps seem to be the favorite, lol i dunno why we were looking at one when we looked at the blazer and in every area the blazer succeded in. As far as power, accelaration, towing, ride quality, and interior features, the blazer in my opinion was much better in all of those area's. I think a blazer looks way better to haha, but everyone has there opinion and there is definatly a bigger community out there for jeep drivers than any other SUV, or truck.

i just had the same experiance camping this weekend. I couldn't find a mud hole that she wouldn't plow through and the only time I got stuck was me trying to go through a water hole with 2 foot deep ruts(all 4 wheels were off the ground) I'm just amazed at how much these trucks go through with the stock michilins on em!

paragon is in hazelton. i forget where raush creek is. paragon is better for the learing wheeler. rauch creek has ALOT of rocks.
haspin acres in indiana isnt to bad, realy no rocks, but plenty of hill climbs and mud.
next park i am headin to is the badlands in western indiana. should be fun.

not to worried about rocks. Just hope I don't kiss any with the body. had some close calls the other weekend with the blazer on a trail called Bear Run. Has some nice hill climbs with some creek crossings with steep rock climbing on the other side. I'm definately getting some bigger tires. either 29's or I'm gonna go 30's Hopefully the next time i hit the trail I will have a buddy with me with his jeep so I can mess around more and get some pics going through the mud and of the trail. Just didn't want to risk stopping in a mud pit then not being able to get moving agian being basically by myself vehicle wise.
