on the superlift website it lists the 6" for 95-00 4-Door models only

the 2" lift will fit 2 or 4 door models

What exactly is the difference between 2 dr. and 4 dr. other than the obvious. Would a zr-2 lift kit work on a non-zr2? Kinda fustrating. Seems every vehicle I get they either don't make the stuff I want for it or you have to custom fab it. Which is cool cause you know you will be the only one with it but when you don't have the time it is a pita!

the ZR-2 kits are different part numbers than the non-ZR2, the mounting locations on the suspension are different between non-ZR2 and ZR2. I looked into swapping a stock ZR2 suspension onto my 4 door and thats how i found out theyre all different, would be a complete PITA, lots of welding and fabrication.

as far as not finding stuff for your truck, most of the general parts that work for the S-10 pickup pf the same year range will also work for your Blazer, except forpickup body-style specific parts of course What year is your Blazer by the way?

i have the list of kits for ZR2 Blazers also, going to post all those up when I have more time..... then I'll post up the 2wd suspension lifts for anyone interested.

My blazer is a 99 LS 2 dr. I've tried finding a complete bolt up cat back but most places don't carry them or can't get them in. Can get it in for a 4 dr. but not 2 dr.

yeah, i was hoping someone would put it at the top, im going to add all the 2wd lifts and ZR2 lifts this evening after work.

i think another member had problems finding an exhaust for a 2-door, i think gibson makes one for the ZR2, but i dont know if he tried fitting it on his non-ZR2.

have you tried stylin concepts, jegs, and summit racing? they can usually get that kinda stuff even though it may not be listed on the website or magazine. if not you may have to get it custom made

I've been browsing the stylin concepts. That is where I found the lifts at. havn't had a chance to check out jegs or summit yet. What exactly is the difference between the suspenion on a 4 dr. and the 2 dr. Would you be able to get a suspension for a 4 dr. to fit a 2dr.? The welding part would worry me a bit. I'm working on getting better at it. But most of the stuff I have welded is at work and that is aluminum tray's. Not sure if that is easier or harder to work with than steel. I'm not to afraid to tackle the 5 or 6" lifts at my garage. Might give it a try if I can get the funds and I have the spare vehicle on the road by then. If I can get

the 2" lifts will fit a 2-door or 4-door, if its the 6-inch superlift kit that youre wondering about, I would try calling them and seeing if it will fit, or if they have any reccomendations on making it fit. Seems to me that if the 2" fits both, than the 6" should fit both. The only difference I can think of would be rear suspension mounting points, the 6" does a SOA (spring over axle) which might change things too much to fit the 2-door.

I'm wondering if I couldn't make up a plate to mount to the top of my axle for the leafs to be bolted on to.

It would have to be a pretty thick gauge metal to be used there, but it could be done. The kits come with rear lift though, I'm not sure if you can buy the front buy itself. You will definitely need longer brake lines and longer shocks if you do it.

I'm figuring 1/4 or thicker. I'm just trying to figure out how much that would give by having the leafs mounted on top.

you would gain about 4.5-5", the diameter of the axle tubes

I need to hurry up and get a welder. haha That is a pretty good jump. Seems like that is basically what the superlift and other kits would do.

That's exactly why it won't work on a 2 door. Drive-line angles become an issue and Superlift doesn't want to take on the liability of that.
