can we get a section just for how to's. that way people that have to do things or figure out new things can post how to's that could help each other out in great lengths. Thoughts or comments?

It has been suggested long ago and we are discussing it, but it really can't be something like the current forum sections. It really has to consist of a closed section for submissions only and another section that is open for discussion on the how-to's and any addition/subtraction to them.

a good example of what ia m talking about if from a previous auto forum (stratusphere.us) were when someone did something cool, they through a howto together for it. then ppl could ask questions to help get it done. No requests were allowed, and all the different generations were through into a big pot, no seperate sections.

There are lots of 'good' examples of How-To sections out there on the web. What I think are the best ones are the ones setup as I described.
