I just checked out the Chevy web site. There are no more Xtremes. First they stopped making the S10 Xtremes, which I see ALL over the place here and I'm sure elsewhere too, and now the Blazer Xtremes are gone too. I can understand the the whole getting rid of the Blazer Xtreme because you just don't see too many of them around unlike the S10 Xtremes. But they got rid of the S10 because of the Colorado (which is pretty damn stupid.) Don't get me wrong...I would LOVE to own a Colorado. The Blazer's now only come in 2 door with or without 4WD and that's it (if I remember correctly). What's up with that!!!??? I thought that Chevy had a great idea making a 'factory body kit' series was a pretty cool idea. You just don't see too many car manufacturers making them. Sure, most of them have their 'hopped up' line like Chevy SS, Saturn Red Line, Toyota TRD, etc. But that's what made them cool, they stood out from the crowd and everyone recognized them and not just another car/truck with an aftermarket body kit (not that I'm slamming aftermarket stuff). Okay...I can see that it was probably a 'limited edition' trim that was just going to be around for a little while or that it just didn't sell as well as Chevy would have liked it to. I had a 1999 Dodge Avenger and that was only made from '95-'00 (with not too many 2000's made) and that was it. But my main gripe is why is Chevy only making the Blazer's a 2 door model only? They have the Cobalt supposably replacing the popular Cavilier (don't know why either). I can, however, understand the whole Oldsmobile-no-more thing though. But what in the world are the car industries doing nowadays anyway?

Just found out that there will still be an Xtreme line. The Colorado will be wearing the badge next sometime fall 2004. Not too many details about it have been given yet even though it should have white face gauges with a small bow tie on it, chrome trim around the headlamps and grill, cluster accents, 18" rims, projector beam fog lamps and of coarse, the body kit with spoiler. The picture shown didn't show much detail of the vehicle but the body kit is new looking (not like the S10 and Blazer Xtremes.) I can't wait to see some pictures once they get them posted, let alone look at one at the dealership. Hopefully I'll hit the lottery before this fall. Yeah, right.

Here is the web site to the page. It says as a caption that it is with the Xtreme package available fall 2004. I don't know how to upload pics onto posts. Can anyone tell me how?

come on now... im new to this site, but im a veteran of www.blazinlow.com

the s-series truck had production stoped back in 2002. they just so happen to have so many parts to continue to produce these trucks, 2004 is the last year for the s10 blazer/pickup. yes being replaced by the colorado. the colorado comes with the zq8 (xtreme) package, yes that picture above is the colorado zq8, or the colorado xtreme. but the xtreme lineup is now going to be an option for many chevy cars. as the malibu max and malibu xtreme are made, the cobalt, and the cobalt xtreme are being made, the aveo xtreme, and the new trailblazer ss.

more then happy to answer anymore of you guys questions...im full of knowledge

That's cool that the Xtreme line will still be available (even better for more vehicles). The only problem...The Xtreme's won't be Xtreme anymore...everyone and their dog will have one and then they'll just be another vehicle rolling down the road. Just like the SS's are now. You can't spit without hitting 10 Monte Carlo SS's. Speaking of...has anyone else noticed that the Monte SS is mostly driven my middle aged women? I can vouch for it...my mom has one. I'm seeing more and more of middle aged women driving sports cars. Mid-aged crisis anyone??? I'm not slamming....I'm just pointing it out. But..yes that is the picture with the Xtreme package that I saw. But it is depressing that the Xtreme might be available for a lot of different vehicles. Yes, options are good and if you like Xtreme's and a certain vehicle, it'll be cool to know that they have them for the car you want....but....they won't be as cool like they are now.

Try doing a search on E-Bay motors.

Due to chevy getting rid of the blazer line they still have many excess blazer parts laying around in the factories. The same factories which will soon be building the colorado in mass. So in order to git rid of the majority of parts while still making profit they are selling the blazer with limited trim and options.
