My fuel pump is bad in the tank. Still runs, just not enough pressure to start the motor. Instead of paying $350 for the replacement pump, and dealing with dropping the tank to replace it, I was thinking I might just place an inline pump along the framerail.

Anyone done this? Any suggestions as to what type/brand (part number) of pump to get. Any reason not to do it?
