Amazing how well those door gaskets work. This truck didn't have a drop of mud inside.
Notice the mud line running front to back on teh doors? You could say it was deep on this side.
Slinging it on the outside is nice. But driving through it is a diferent story.

Bst mod you can make to your truck if your gonna take it wheeling is tires. Then recovery gear. Cuase you will get stuck.

nice pic!

Yeah I am currently looking at getting a used set of either 31/10.5/15 BFG all terrains or michelin ltx all terrain. Would those be good for some moderate mudding or would i need to run full on mud terrains? (what are you running in the pic there?)

That truck has the BFG All-Terrains in 30" size.

The '87 used to have Michelins XLT in LT235/75R15 size. They did ok in comparision to the BFG's.

cool. I'm currently looking for a used set of the BFG AT. So I guess you can do some pretty heavy duty mudding on those?

I wouldn't say heavy duty, but they should get you through quite a bit of mud. Now watch, the first thing your going to do is bury it up to the frame in mud and wonder why your not moving.

I've done that before with my old pick up. That sucked. Had to walk about 2 miles or more through the mountains to somebodies house to call for help after getting done with practice. Anyone else see those pics now? I think the problem maybe solved. not 100% sure tho. Will hopefully have more over the next few weeks if we get any rain!
