I can work on the decals and such. I'll be getting some done soon and I can ask about volume pricing. I can also see about t-shirts. The only thing is that I'm in Canada, so that might pose a problem for shipping I could probably get decals done cheap and then just send the lot to a more central person.

Dory...PM me about designs...or I'll PM Patrick about what design they'd like to see.

lunatic_magnet is a personal friend of mine and he has the machine to make the decals, just as long as they are one color... so if want we can ask him if he'll do it, of course he'll get paid for them. i cant help with the t.shirt idea though. but yeah we can work this out if a premium membership is going to actually come to pass.

Well, that would work better probably then. It would be much easier for you guys since the base membership is in the states. Since Kyle has already started it off with his decals that can be seen in this thread: Clickity we could go with the design seen here. Serpentine is a simple font that most people have, so it's easy to get. That looks like it's Serpentine Bold Oblique (It might be named differently on a PC, but basically it's the Serpentine font). I can work on a design for the shirts and we can figure out where to get them printed.

Another issue...what will people be willing to spend?

i'm a personal friend! sweet!

as a general rule i would advise using a light color since most people will put them on glass... white shows up best, and its neutral.

also its nice if the overall size is kept at 9"x4" max because it will fit in a standard business-sized envelope and make them easy to mail flat with a regular stamp - although i imagine if people wanted larger the sticker could be folded.

(FYI the mirror-looking bowtie will not cut as a decal, it has to be solid or outline)

off the top of my head, i could probably do these 9" by 4" for something like $6 shipped m/o or cash, or $7 via paypal, and say like $5 for each additional sticker.
making them 2 color (gold bowtie) would definately make that go up a little, especially since id have to order some gold to do it.

its easier for me if i can do a run all at once, so if a design is chosen maybe we could give it 30 days before the first printing just so i can make a bunch at once instead of doing them 1 at a time as they trickle in. that would also allow me to offer a choice of some basic colors to everyone (black, white, red, blue... whatever else i have here in my office).

I think forum acces one should be like 5 bux. nothing to big but the big membership maybe 25-35 bux?

Sizes of the decal dont matter to me! Im gonna have it going down the side of my windshield like the peopl do with the suicidedoors.com and all.

I was just thinking for the shirt design. We could so a smaller logo like lunatic_magnet posted on the front like left chest area and have a big www.BlazerForum.com going across the back!

Well, we'll have to talk to Patrick and see what he thinks of everything. They might have something in the works that we don't know of as well. I'll PM him a link to this thread.

lunatic_magnet, i have emailed you...

the problem with the "private section" is that in my experiences, it turns into a porn section, and I know of at least one site that has been shut down by an angry mother and her lawyer.

As for some of the other things, let me look into things, and talk to lunatic_magnet, and we will see what can be done!

ive spoken with patrick, everything seems cool...

the use of the bowtie logo was brought up and survey says its best not to use it as it belongs to someone else and the forum does not have the right to its use...

otherwise, i guess the floor is open to design suggestions.

I'm going to stay out of the design concepts since I'm a trained professional and it wouldn't be fair haha. I want to see what you guys can come up with.

So keep your designs to yourself until further notice. We have something coming up that you might be interested in, and you might want to keep your ideas to yourself for now .
Watch early next week for news!
