so as you all know the spare tire in my xtreme is in my cargo area, first i was thinking i could put the tire underneath with the holder situation, but the gas tank is in that spot....soo am i doomed just to have the spare tire lingering around the back??

Pretty much. I mean it wouldn't look right outside anywhere like on the roof or on the back. Guess your gonna have to deal with it inside or just don't carry it all. But the minute you take it out, your gonna get a flat. So leave it in. I know its a pain..........
