My 97 has just a tad over 143,000 miles. Maybe I should change the spark plugs soon.

23,450km as of a few minutes ago---im up to about 21mpg now just put in an alpine PDX 1.1000 and I have (hopefully) 2 new 12''s coming my way--if so, i'll be picking up another PDX for even MORE thump! (and less mileage due to alternator drag haha)

How much gas did you buy?hat was the mileage before fillup and after it was empty? You need the numbers to complete the eqaution.

Here is a way to calculate mpg. I copied it from a search. There are other methods used too.

To calculate fuel economy, start with a full tank; note the odometer (odometer #1) reading. Drive the vehicle normally and note the use mix (city, highway, or city-highway mixed). When the fuel gauge reaches approximately ¼, refill the tank and note the odometer (odometer #2) reading. Subtract odometer #1 from odometer #2; divide the result by the number of gallons purchased. One significant decimal place is sufficient. Examples: Odometer reads 30,455 when the tank is first filled. The vehicle is driven until the fuel gauge reads ¼ ; the odometer reads 30,723. It took 12.7 gallons to fill the tank again. Subtract the 30,455 from 30,723 and divide the result by the 12.7. [30,723 - 30,455 = 268]

Mind you this is w/ stock size tires used. if bigger tires are used and the PCM was not hacked into for OD and speedo adjustments, all calculations will be off.

or just reset your trip odometer everytime you fill up and then you have the number of miles that you traveled on that tank
