15.190 mpg last tank. Boooooo!!!!!

Thats about like my tanks have been. First one was 14.8, next was 16.x, after that I droped back to 14.x.  After those I decided Im not checking any more and since its winter im sure that has something to do with it.  Im sure if I slowed down that would help also.  Been driving 150 miles round trip to my parents on weekends driving 85.

Oh and 99 with 62,7xx.  Just bought it 3 weeks ago.  So far I had the door pins replaced, alternator sounds like its going out, and I walked out to my Blazer before work to a flat tire.  Oh and my 2 rear door speakers dont work.  The door pins were part of the deal other than that everything else started within the last week.

LOL...newbies getting in on the action. Since we've revived this thread, I'll chime in with my latest mileage.

On the way to work today I turned 306,000 kms, which translates into 190,134 miles on my 1993 S-10 4x4. I bought it with about 160,000 kms, I think, so I have packed quite a few on in two years and a half years.

I'll chime in also. 149,000 on '97 and 20 miles per gallon every time! It's great compared to my 5.0 explorer I had. 14 miles to the gallon but way  more power than the 4.3 has.

Well, since I thought I had already replied to the original topic, but haven't, here goes...

I've got 83k miles on my 2000 Bravada and I generally get around 15-17mpg depending on how hard I am around town.  Last long trip I took with it, I was up to 18.5mpg.

Well lets see 2005 got just under 40,000KM and get between 450 and 475 KM per tank. Whatever that works out to in miles.

2001 Blazer with 34,128 miles, bought it two years ago with 3,386 miles. I remember the exact mileage when I bought it because, it was the newest and lowest miles vehicle I had ever owned. It was truly a milestone in my life!

Well I just swapped out my 2.8 drive train for a 4.3 drive train. The 2.8 was a gm goodwrench and I don't think it was the original one in it. But my 88 s10 blazr has over 319,000 on it before I did my swap. It was still running before I did it. I think the crank had broke in it but still ran smooth but for a clanging sound it was making.
