I have a 98 Blazer LS with 113000 miles on it, and I've had it since February. Today while I was driving, the 4WD kicked in. This the second time this has happened within the last month. I think is it safe to assume that this is not normal. What could be causing this, and how can it be fixed?? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I had a similar problem. My 4x4 wouldnt go into 4hi. and a couple times i noticed it turned itself into 4x4 without me pushing the button. i did a little research and found out that the CPU needs an updated program. cost like $80 at the dealership, but everything works good now.
